- The climax of the episode (in which Baby Grizz and Baby Ice Bear use an airplane to rescue Baby Panda from Carl the Gorilla atop the mansion) is a parody of the famed Empire State Building scene from the film King Kong.
- A giant floor piano can be seen similar to the one from the movie Big.
- Charles Willoughby Wentworth and the Baby Bears play with water guns around a tree with bills hanging from the leaves. Charles is later seen chasing Baby Ice Bear around the same tree. This could be a play on the phrase "Money doesn't grow on trees".
- Baby Grizz saying "We'll go where no bear has gone before" is a reference to the original Star Trek series.
