Cassi is a one-off character and the main villain of the season one finale episode'' Little Fallen Star''. She is Ursa's sister.
Appearance[]
Cassi has light blue fur with white details and dark blue ears, she has big eyes with pink pupils and long eyelashes.
She wears a spacesuit in shades of blue with shoulder pads, dark blue boots and a pink four-pointed star symbol drawn on her chest.
When Cassi takes over her sister's kingdom, she wears a reddish pink crown with a star-shaped jewel in the middle.
Personality[]
Cassi is very narcissistic and self-obsessed, shown by the fact that she only cares about her outer beauty and is willing to do whatever it takes to stay young and beautiful, she can also be cold and cruel as she shows no mercy to anyone, willing to hurt or kill anybody who steps in her way.
Biography[]
Past
Much about Cassi's past is unknown, but it is implied that since she was young she was very jealous of her sister Ursa Major's beauty and because she didn't have what she wanted she always bullied Orion to vent her anger.
Present
One day she discovered a way to have the same standard of beauty as her sister. She began to practice a type of medicinal cannibalism (she stole the vital energy of the stars) and over time she became taller, more beautiful and more powerful than her sister, to the point where she wanted to take her place as the new queen of the universe.
Cassi then imprisons her sister in a magical sphere and tries to kill her niece Dippy. However she fails due to Rigel's interference who sends her to a distant planet, as a form of punishment. Cassi steal's Rigel's vital energy and then imprisons him in another sphere.
Some time passes with her ruling with a reign of terror, until the three baby bears (Grizzly Bear,Panda Bear and Ice Bear) arrive and upon seeing Dippy's mom imprisoned in a red sphere, try to fight Cassi.
However, this ends up resulting in Cassi capturing little Dippy and destroying the magic Box, after which she sends the three baby bears to the other space's dump.
After that, the three bears return to the Star Castle to save Dippy and with a little distraction of Madame Malin and Madeline Malin they manage to defeat Cassi and free both Dippy and her mother Ursa Major.
As form of punishment for her crimes, Ursa Major removes her sister's powers and youth, reducing Cassi to a small and gross old lady. After that, Cassi leaves angrily and swears revenge against the three baby bears.
Cassi takes little Dippy and the three baby bears to the space beach as a favor to her older sister Ursa Major while she was solving some important business on the other side of the galaxy.
While Ice Bear tries to surf in the water and Panda bear helps Dippy build a sand castle, Cassi tries to trick Grizz into helping her regain her youthful appearance and her cosmic and phenomenal goddess powers.
However, Grizz ends up discovering her evil scheme and tries to stop Cassi from recovering her powers while a giant wave (caused by Ice Bear) hits them and almost kills them both.
In the end, Cassi's spell ends up creating a capricorn cub, which she ends up falling in love with and then adopting it. Now that she has a new friend, Cassi makes peace with the baby bears and decides to accept her old age.
In Uncle Orion, Cassi and Box are playing the Checkers. During the racing, Cassi, Nashira and the Box are watching the Saturn Grand Prix, with "Orion" flags, cheering. But suddently surprised after lose the race.
In Intergalactic Party Crashers, a group of Space Pirates invade Rigel's Baby Shower and start stealing gifts, However Cassi is not bothered by the pirates' presence and lets them continue their plundering. But when she sees Nashira being captured by one of the pirates, Cassi uses a Star to regain her youthful form and fight the leader of the space to save her little friend.
Trivia[]
- Cassi is inspired by Queen Grimhilde from Disney's first animated featured film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. In addition to being vain queens who are obsessed with beauty, they also try to kill their stepdaughter (Snow White/Dippy) to achieve the standard of beauty they so desire.
- Cassi may also have been insipired by Scar from the Lion King since both are jealous to the point of carrying out a coup d'etat on their brother/sister and take their place as the new ruler.
