Daniel Chong is an American artist of Singaporean-Chinese descent and the creator of We Bare Bears. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California.

Career

Daniel Chong was born in Fargo, North Dakota. Before creating We Bare Bears, Daniel Chong was a story artist for Pixar Animation Studios, Nickelodeon, Blue Sky, and Illumination Entertainment. During his tenure at Pixar, he helped create the 2013 Toy Story of Terror and 2014 Toy Story Christmas special, Toy Story: That Time Forgot. He has also worked on The Lorax, on which Charlie's design is based.
