Dippy is a character who appears in We Baby Bears.
Appearance[]
Dippy is a small bear, who most closely resembles Ice Bear. However, her fur is a more vibrant shade of white, her eyes a more cyan-blue and her tail is closer to that of a dog than a that of a bear. She also had a glowing, neon-blue star on her chest. She first appears in the fallen star special.
Personality[]
She was shown to be easily scared and upset, most likely because of her age. But she also was seen acting playful, participating with the bears in their attempts to get into space, and chasing a moth at one point.
Biography[]
Little Fallen Star[]
Rigel quickly launched her from a pod to protect her from her aunt, Cassi, before being drained of her star power.
She ended up landing where the bears had just arrived, where they tried to figure out where she came from, believing if they did so, they could get answers on their magic box.
After Panda ordered a rocket from the Malin corporation, which happened to be another trap by Madame and Madeline, the latter sees the cute cub, and decide she prefers Dippy over Panda.
Ice Bear saves her by remove a blue pacifier they gave her to keep her quiet, and her cry ended up launching the foxes far away.
Afterwards, she gets in the box and is able to transport the bears to her home, where her aunt has been draining the stars from the sky to make herself eternally beautiful.
She is then captured by Cassi, alongside Rigel and her mom, just as the bears are thrown into a garbage crusher, and their box is drained of its power, thus rendering it to scraps.
The bears then manage to team up and escape, but their attempts to save her are thwarted when Panda orders a Boba tea from the Malin corporation, resulting in the French foxes returning with a robot that looks like him.
They too get encased by Cassi, who uses the star power she's drained to make a cosmic battle suit, forcing the bears to utilize the robot one to take her down.
But despite their best efforts, they fail to beat her, and she starts openly insulting Dippy, until the cub is giving a pep talk by her new friends, and manages to uses her powers to fix her home, and weaken her aunt, saving everyone.
Culture References/Trivia[]
- Dippy has the same star design on the baby bears magic box, and another cartoon character's t-shirt, from a show by the name of Steven Universe.
