Farmer, also known as Bodyguard #1, is Nom Nom's main bodyguard. He shows a strong loyalty to Nom Nom, saving him in spite of being fired.

He's probably the character who has suffered the most dramatic change of design, looking quite different in the third season compared to the first two seasons, but is still recognizable for his strong body, bald head, koala-like nose, and sunglasses.

He is mostly based on the character Frank Farmer from the 1992 movie The Bodyguard.

Appearance[]

He is a large burly bald man with a prominent nose. He is usually seen wearing a suit.

Personality[]

He initially does not have much of a personality though he often followed Nom Nom's orders loyally and often took his verbal abuse with patience. However, by the episode "Kyle" he demonstrates genuine loyalty beyond simple employer and employee as he warned Nom Nom that the koala claiming to be Nom Nom's lost brother Kyle was more likely a fake. When Nom Nom refused to listen to him and fired him out of anger, he was genuinely heartbroken but still came back to protect Nom Nom from Kyle.

Nom Nom[]

He is loyal to Nom Nom as a friend and not just as his bodyguard. This is best highlighted in the episode "Kyle" where he protects Nom nom from the con artist Kyle pretending to be Nom Nom's long lost brother. Nom Nom initially treated him with little respect and didn't even bother to remember his name, seeming to instead refer to him as "Bodyguard #1". Despite this, by the end of "Kyle", upon realizing how much Farmer cared for him, he started to refer to him by name from then on, and it stuck, as shown in "Vacation". In "More Everyone's Tube", when everyone is singing and showing what or who they love, Nom Nom is shown with Farmer, showing how strong and genuine their bond is.
