Madame Malin (or Madam Malin) is a major antagonist of We Baby Bears.
Appearance[]
Malin is a red fox with orange and beige fur. She has red hair and black tips on her ears. She wears a light gray jacket with black pockets and cuffs, as well as a purple dress with a black collar, buttons and a skirt. She wears long white boots.
Personality[]
She is a female french malin fox and the mother of Madeline Malin. She has an obsession with pleasing her despite her daughter’s obviously psychotic tendencies and extreme obsession over capturing Panda.
Biography[]
Hashtag Number One Fan[]
After the bears get away, Madame Malin and her daughter emerge from the rubble. Madame Malin promises Madeline, who gets upset that Panda got away, assures her of one thing:
I will capture that Panda... if it's the last thing I do.
Panda's Family[]
In Panda's Family, Madame Malin wears a panda disguise suit and calls herself Uncle Panda, alongside Madeline disguising herself as Cousin Panda.
She encounters the Baby Bears by telling them that they are related to Panda and that they have been looking her for a long time.
To prove that they are related to Panda, the bears decide on giving them various tests for them. They first challenge them to dance, since Panda has dance styles passed down from generations. They then make them guess Panda's favorite food (Sliced Onion), musical instrument (Saxophone), favorite hobby (Crying Alone). For the final part of the test, they make the pandas test their allergies, by making them walk through flowers without sneezing (Since Panda gets allergies). They past all parts of the test.
Uncle Panda (Malin) tells the bears that only Panda can come with them. The Bears let him go with them, and Uncle Panda gives Panda a red envelope. As they say goodbye, Malin takes Madeline into an alleyway and talks to her, since Madeline thinks it is taking too long for Malin to get Panda. Wally takes a photo of them unmasked and later when the bears are saying their final goodbyes, tries to chase them to give them their photo he took and drops the photo. The Bears look at it and it reveals the panda's true identities.
Later, with Panda, they reveal a big panda lantern to him and use it as a hot air balloon. They reveal themselves to panda. Afterwards, the other bears show up to have a showdown against Malin and Madeline. Panda rips Malin's suit tail and her and Madeline fly off into the ocean.
High Baby Fashion[]
In High Baby Fashion, Madam Malin and her daughter were in the background still stalking the Bear trio for another chance to snatch Panda. When Panda was signing up for the fashion show, Malin finally made her move launching a net from her remote operated flying drone to her daughter's ominous joy. Panda's defeated sigh revealing he cant participate in the Fashion Cat Island fashion ended up being his salvation when the idea of a Fashion contest literally made her drop everything to sign her little Madeline up. The now free Panda wasn't out of danger yet as Malin's daughter began pursuing him with cartoony hearts in her eyes until her mother snatched her up to reveal the news. This revealed there was something more important to Madame Malin than giving her daughter whatever she wanted and it was showing off her fashion expertise and Madeline's good looks to the fashion world.
Madeline Malin wasn't happy hearing her mother's antics was getting in the way of finally capturing Panda, but Malin reassured her they could do that after winning the contest. During the bickering between Madame and the bears she reveals her portable arsenal of fashion in the form of a ball that folds out into a dressing room filled with several outfits, including a panda suit that may be the same disguise from a previous episode featuring the foxy antagonists.
The Fashion show begins with Malin dominating each event category to her vixen daughter's vexation of being so close to panda but held up by the event and her mother's passion for fashion. Panda and his brothers were wowed by Madeline's performance but Malin's competitive spirit brings him back to his senses. The fashion show escalates as the categories call for wilder fashion entries where Malin dominates with her design choices for Madeline while The Bears flounder just to stay relevant in the competition.
The Malin family drama reaches a fever pitch when Madeline finally had enough and stormed away from her mother in tears where she literally ran into Panda. Madeline vents to Panda over how his brothers support him with the fashion show while Malin doesn't supports her love for the Accordion and just wanting to be with Panda. After bonding a little, the little fox and Panda team up to show Malin and everyone else who they really are in the fashion show by putting on a duet about being themselves. This earned both of them the win without Malin's fashion or Panda trying to be someone he is not, leaving Malin exasperated by the results.
Madame Malin is horrified being confronted by her daughter and her exclaimed passion for the accordion which lead to the already distressed mother fleeing with her ears covered. After The Bears brotherly love fest, they got wise by gesturing to flee the island in their box before Malin and Madeline try to secure Panda again. Madeline lamenting how Panda came to her in her time of need only fueled her passion more by trying to net him and his brothers once and for all, but their box disappeared under her huge net. This lead to her crying knowing Panda was out of her sight again as Madam Malin returns in a flash to console her, ensuring they will capture Panda next time.
