Patton Peter Oswalt is an American stand-up comedian, writer, actor, and voice actor. He has been headlining at comedy clubs all over the United States since 1996, as well as appearing in his own stand-up specials on Comedy Central and HBO.
He is the voice of Nom Nom in the Cartoon Network original series We Bare Bears.
Personal Life[]
Patton is the son of Carla and Larry J. Oswalt[1], the latter of the two being a United States Marine Corps officer.[2] He also has a younger brother named Matt Oswalt, who is well-known for the YouTube series Puddin'.
On September 24, 2005, Patton married actress Michelle Eileen McNamara[3] and later had a daughter, Alice Rigney Oswalt, born on April 15, 2009, just shy of 4 years later.

Career[]
Patton first began performing stand-up comedy in the late 1980s or early 1990s. He then went to be a writer for MADtv and starred in his own HBO comedy special. He later went to act in notable roles in films and television shows, such as acting as Spence Olchin on The King of Queens and voice acting as the lead character Remy in the film, Ratatouille, and Tobey from WordGirl.
As a writer, Patton spent two seasons on MADtv and has also written for the MTV Music Video Awards. He is currently writing screenplays and has appeared in feature films such as Starsky & Hutch, Man on the Moon, and Magnolia.
