Rodger Dale Bumpass (born November 20, 1951)[1] is an American actor, voice actor and comedian. He is known for his long-running role as Squidward Tentacles on the American animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants. He voices several other characters on the show as well, including the purple doctorfish and various anchovies.
He is the voice of the Theater Manager in the Cartoon Network original series We Bare Bears.

Rodger was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for his role as Squidward in the hit Nickelodeon show, SpongeBob SquarePants. He hasn't won any awards yet.
Career[]
He studied in and craduated from Arkansas State University. In 1977, the first year he became active in his new-found career, Rodger had won a role in That's Not Funny, That's Sick, a music and comedy road-show, owned by the National Lampoon.
Rodger is best known for his work on Nickelodeon's Spongebob Squarepants, being the voice of Squidward Tentacles. He also voices other characters in the series, such as Dr. Gill Gilliam and the anchovies. He's also well-known for voices characters such as The Chief from Where on Earth is Carmen San Diego?, Professor Membrane from Invader Zim, and Dr. Light from Teen Titans.
