Trivia[]
- Even though Panda's allergic to cats, this is the first and only episode where he isn't shown to be allergic to them.
- This episode has a similarity to "Slumber Party" where Grizzly shows Panda and Ice Bear where to split up, and does it ninjaly.
Cultural References[]
- One of the name suggestions for the Bears' new pet is "Tiger Claw", which is a reference to the Warriors series. But also a reference to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012 TV series).
- The song during the prep montage is similar to Kenny Loggins' song, "Danger Zone".
- When Thunderbolt was massaging Ice Bear is a reference for the Looney Tunes franchises when Pussyfoot Love's to give Mark Anthony a "back claw massage".
Errors[]
- The cougar's claw marks in the door disappear after the Bears get back in the Cave.
- Some of the cougar sound effects are stock sounds of tiger roaring. In real life, cougars don't roar like lions or tigers and are instead related to smaller cats like house cats.
- Three cougars and their cub are shown as a family. In real life, cougars normally live and hunt alone.
- Thunderbolt is shown like a normal house kitten. In real life, cougar cubs have spots that disappear as they grow older.
